Our Web Application was unavailable for approximately 40 minutes. The incident was caused by an outage in one of our downstream service providers (Auth0), which in turn was caused by an incident within AWS in the eu-central-1 region.
Our check scheduling infrastructure was also partially impacted, and we have missed some check executions in the eu-central-1 region during the AWS incident, which lasted about 75 minutes.
Check scheduling in other regions was not impacted, and our alerting system remained operational throughout the incident.
